FAQs

1) What is Swaptain?

Swaptain is a non-custodial trading bot that lets you buy, sell, and manage crypto directly from chat. You keep full control of your wallet and funds.

2) Is Swaptain custodial?

No. Your private keys are fully encrypted and protected by your password. You also receive a 12-word recovery phrase. We can't access your funds.

3) Which chains do you support?

Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, BNB, XRP, Avalanche, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Dash, Atom, Arbitrum, Polkadot, Base, Thorchain, Maya, and Tron Network — with more coming.

4) Do I need any extra apps?

No extra apps. You can trade and manage your wallet directly from chat.

5) How do deposits and withdrawals work?

Use Deposit to copy your address for a specific blockchain and send funds to it. Use Withdraw to send assets out. Always send/receive on the same blockchain to avoid loss of funds.

6) Can I export my wallet?

Yes. In Settings > View Private Keys you can export and import your wallet into another interface if you wish.

7) What if I forget my password?

Your password protects your encrypted wallet in chat. If you forget it, you can restore your wallet with your 12-word recovery phrase. We cannot reset or recover your phrase.

8) What fees will I pay?

Network fees depend on the blockchain. Trading may include a small service fee shown on the confirmation screen before you approve any swap.

9) What is slippage?

Slippage is the allowed price movement during a swap. You can adjust it in Settings > Configure. Lower slippage is safer but may fail during volatility; higher slippage fills faster but can result in a worse price.

10) Are cross-chain swaps bridged?

Cross-chain swaps are designed to be decentralized and avoid wrapped assets where possible. Details of the route are shown before you confirm.

11) Do you give financial advice?

No. We do not provide investment or trading advice. You're responsible for your own decisions and funds.

12) Do I need KYC?

No account sign-up or KYC is required to use the bot. Please comply with your local laws.

13) How do I change language?

Go to Settings > Language and pick from 15+ supported languages.

14) A transaction is pending or failed — what should I do?

Pending transactions usually confirm after the network clears. If a swap fails, review your slippage and network fee settings, then try again. For help, tap Support in the main menu.
