Supported Blockchains
Swaptain supports native asset swaps across 20+ blockchains. All chains are enabled by default, but you can customise which ones appear in your wallet via Settings.
| Chain | Ticker | Notes | |-------|--------|-------| | Bitcoin | BTC | The original cryptocurrency. Confirmations take ~10 min per block | | Bitcoin Cash | BCH | Faster block times than BTC | | Litecoin | LTC | Faster and cheaper transactions than BTC | | Dogecoin | DOGE | Popular meme coin with active community | | Dash | DASH | Privacy-focused with InstantSend capability | | Zcash | ZEC | Optional privacy features via shielded transactions |
ERC-20 & BEP-20 Tokens
In addition to native assets, Swaptain supports hundreds of tokens on EVM chains. You can search for any token by:
- Ticker symbol (e.g., USDC, USDT, WBTC)
- Contract address — paste the full address to find any token
Not all tokens are available for cross-chain swaps. Some tokens may only be swappable within the same chain. Swaptain will show you available routes when you search for a token.
Token Security
Every token you interact with is automatically screened for security risks using the GoPlus Security API. Tokens receive a risk rating:
| Rating | Meaning | |--------|---------| | Trusted | Well-known native assets and established tokens | | Verified | Passed all security checks with minimal risk indicators | | Low Risk | Minor risk indicators detected | | Medium Risk | Multiple risk indicators — trade with caution | | High Risk | Significant risks detected — exercise extreme caution | | Blocked | Honeypot, fake token, or dangerous contract — cannot trade |
Blocked tokens include honeypots (tokens you can buy but never sell), fake tokens impersonating legitimate projects, and contracts with self-destruct capabilities. Swaptain blocks these to protect you.
Managing Your Chains
You can enable or disable specific chains in your wallet settings. Disabling a chain hides it from your balance view and swap interfaces, but doesn't affect any existing holdings.
Use /wallet and navigate to Enabled Chains to customise.
New chains are added as they're integrated by THORChain and SwapKit. Follow our blog for announcements.
